Jascon Engineering is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced

Procurement Officer

with a strong background in the

Oil & Gas construction and maintenance sector

. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing process of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring reliable sourcing, cost-effective contracts, and timely delivery to support ongoing Oil & Gas projects. This role demands excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills, along with in-depth knowledge of procurement practices within the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for

Oil & Gas construction and maintenance projects

. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost efficiency and timely delivery. Ensure compliance with

Oil & Gas industry specifications, quality standards, and project timelines

. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and updated pricing lists. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to determine project purchasing needs. Track purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and resolve issues related to delays or discrepancies. Build and maintain long-term supplier and vendor relationships to ensure reliable procurement. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.

4-6 years of proven experience in procurement within the Oil & Gas construction and maintenance industry.

Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas construction materials, equipment, tools, and vendor sourcing. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure.

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
