We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team in Qatar, specializing in tender and bidding support. If you have procurement management skills, a solid understanding of tendering processes, and a proactive vendor management approach, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute procurement activities in line with company policies and industry standards.
- Prepare RFQs, manage the tendering process, and ensure competitive bids.
- Foster and oversee relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and enforce contract terms.
- Identify new supply sources, collaborate with technical teams to vet suppliers, and align with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards, mitigate risks, and improve procurement efficiency.
- Support contract drafting, review, and management, ensuring vendor compliance and issue resolution.
- Produce reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, vendor performance, and metrics for decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- 4 to 6 years of procurement and vendor management experience, preferably in the GCC region.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure cost savings.
- Profound understanding of procurement processes, compliance, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of Kuwait import documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in procurement software, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project Access, and Vision.
