About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced

Procurement Officer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle -- from sourcing materials and suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery to support our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure best price, quality, and delivery terms. Prepare and process purchase orders, RFQs, and agreements in line with company policies. Coordinate with the engineering and site teams to understand material and equipment requirements. Monitor material delivery schedules to ensure timely project execution. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company procurement procedures. Handle urgent site procurement requirements efficiently. Support cost control by comparing prices, specifications, and delivery terms. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum

5-8 years of procurement experience

, preferably in the

construction or contracting sector

. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Good knowledge of local UAE suppliers, materials, and market pricing. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
