Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, and preparing comparison sheets. Coordinate with Store Incharge to confirm stock availability, verify deliveries, and expedite urgent requirements. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of LPOs, and follow-up on supplier deliveries as per agreed schedules. Conduct market price checks regularly and escalate notable variations to Procurement Incharge. Prepare and submit invoices, delivery notes, and LPOs for verification by Procurement Incharge prior to forwarding to Finance. Maintain up-to-date filing of procurement records, including legal documents, supplier communications, and price approvals. Manage and update ERP systems, ensuring accurate and current procurement data. Support vendor coordination, including follow-ups, documentation, and performance evaluations. Coordinate and assist with vendor audits as per schedule, and follow through on corrective action points. Support the Store Incharge in executing periodic store audits and ensure audit documentation is available. Provide support for vendor onboarding and registration, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant. Help coordinate inter-site stock transfers and logistics support for materials. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols during supplier dealings and material handling. Report any procurement-related delays, concerns, or issues to the Procurement Incharge promptly.

Experience

3-5 years of procurement experience, ideally in: Catering companies Hotels / F&B companies Food service operations Strong knowledge of UAE food suppliers and local market trends.

Skills

Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong knowledge of food items, perishables, and catering materials. Familiarity with UAE import regulations for food products. Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High integrity and adherence to company procurement policies.
