Job Description

We're looking for a detail-driven Procurement Officer who can hit the ground running and drive end-to-end procurement operations with strong technical expertise. This role is critical in ensuring timely sourcing, cost-effective purchasing, and compliance with project requirements across civil, infrastructure, and general contracting works.

Key Responsibilities

Execute full-cycle procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and PO issuance. Analyze project specifications and technical drawings to determine accurate material and service requirements. Maintain strong vendor relationships and develop a reliable supplier network within the UAE construction market. Ensure all procurement aligns with project timelines, cost targets, and quality standards. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and QA/QC for material approvals and delivery schedules. Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability to support proactive planning. Track and manage procurement logs, contracts, and documentation in line with company policies. Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and cost optimization strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

3-5 years of UAE-based procurement experience

in construction or general contracting. Strong technical understanding of construction materials, equipment, and services. Proven negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Strong communication, time management, and stakeholder coordination abilities. Able to work under tight timelines and handle high-volume procurement.
