We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented

Procurement Officer

to join our procurement team in a leading construction company based in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices while ensuring compliance with company policies and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to support project requirements and business objectives. Analyze market trends and assess supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and subcontractors, both locally and internationally. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply chains and effective negotiations.

Tendering & Contracting:

Prepare RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents in accordance with company standards and project needs. Review and negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.

Procurement Execution:

Oversee the purchasing process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely procurement of materials and services. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align procurement activities with construction schedules.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements in the UAE. Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for auditing and performance tracking.

Cost Control & Budget Management:

Monitor procurement budgets and control costs while maintaining quality and delivery standards. Evaluate total cost of ownership for purchases and propose value-engineering alternatives when applicable.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
