Job Description

Job Summary: Al Reem Group is seeking a full-time Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing and procurement of goods and services needed for the company's operations. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for identifying cost-effective deals, maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals.
• Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate market trends.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant legal and regulatory standards.
• Review supplier performance and address any issues or concerns to improve service quality.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels and forecast material needs to optimize stock availability.

• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Immediate availability preferred
