Source, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, and negotiate prices and delivery terms for construction-related purchases.
Collaborate with project engineers, site managers, and quantity surveyors to determine material specifications and project needs.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
Maintain up-to-date records of procurement activities, purchase orders, and supplier performance.
Monitor market trends and price fluctuations in construction materials (e.g., steel, cement, MEP supplies).
Ensure compliance with local procurement regulations, company policies, and international best practices.
Coordinate with customs and logistics teams for the importation of specialized equipment or materials.
Evaluate supplier performance through KPIs such as quality, delivery time, and cost.
Support cost-control initiatives and contribute to value engineering processes.
