Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement group-wide procurement strategies aligned with project and business objectives Lead and manage the

procurement team

, each handling different engineering disciplines Oversee sourcing, evaluation, and appointment of suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers Lead high-value negotiations, long-term agreements, and framework contracts Coordinate closely with engineering, project, contracts, and commercial teams Ensure procurement activities support project schedules, budgets, and quality standards Monitor market trends, material price fluctuations, and supply chain risks Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and UAE regulations Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and supplier performance management Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration Minimum 10-15 years of experience in procurement within construction and contracting At least 5-7 years in a senior or managerial procurement role Proven experience handling group-level or multi-project procurement Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP, civil, and specialized engineering packages Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Experience in the

UAE / GCC construction market is mandatory

Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software
