Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage procurement of raw materials, spare parts, consumables, and services for cement plant operations Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability Ensure timely procurement aligned with production schedules and maintenance requirements Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and cost-saving initiatives Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, delivery timelines, and contractual compliance Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, finance, and stores teams to align procurement activities with operational needs Prepare procurement reports, budgets, cost analyses, and performance reviews for management Identify opportunities for cost optimization, automation, and process improvements Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned suppliers and third-party vendors

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field Minimum

7-10 years of procurement experience in the cement industry

(mandatory) Strong knowledge of cement plant materials, spare parts, consumables, and sourcing practices Proven experience in procuring raw materials such as steel, rubber, chemicals, or similar manufacturing inputs Strong hands-on experience with

SAP (Procurement / MM module)

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills Experience with UAE / GCC procurement practices is a strong advantage Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a manufacturing environment
