Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with project timelines and budgets.
Identify, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with reliable suppliers and subcontractors (local and international).
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Ensure timely procurement of materials such as wood, veneer, laminate, gypsum, lighting, FF&E, MEP items, and bespoke interior elements.
Work closely with Estimation and QS teams to prepare RFQs, evaluate quotations, and finalize vendor selection.
Ensure procured items meet project specifications and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to manage inventory levels and ensure on-time delivery to project sites.
Maintain accurate procurement records using ERP or procurement software.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, and Site Engineers to align procurement schedules with project needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering
, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 5-10 years of procurement experience in the interior design, fit-out, or construction industry within the UAE or GCC.
Strong knowledge of local and international vendors and market trends in interiors and construction materials.
Familiarity with contracting terms, import/export regulations, and customs procedures in the UAE.
Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and procurement tools.
