Develop and execute category-specific procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. Negotiate contracts and pricing terms, stay updated on market trends, and proactively mitigate procurement-related risks. Furthermore, driving cost-saving initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations are integral aspects of this role. Monitoring supplier performance and optimizing procurement efficiency are also key responsibilities.Must have: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, supply chain management or a relevant field is essential. Proven experience in procurement with focus on the protein foods category. 10+ years of experience in an FMCG industry. Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive cost-saving initiatives. In-depth knowledge of the protein foods industry, including market trends, suppliers, and product specifications. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
