The Procurement Specialist/Manager is responsible for overseeing the acquisition of goods, services, and materials for the organization in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This role involves identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, ensuring the timely delivery of products, and maintaining quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new and existing suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure high-quality delivery.
Procurement Strategy
Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational needs.
Forecast procurement requirements based on business demand, project timelines, and budget constraints.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
Purchasing and Ordering:
Place purchase orders based on the requirements of various departments.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorders when necessary to maintain smooth operations.
Manage the approval process for procurement requests and oversee the approval of purchase orders.
Vendor Relationship Management:
Maintain strong communication with vendors, addressing any issues related to product quality, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Resolve any disputes or discrepancies related to deliveries, invoicing, or product quality.
Contract Management:
Draft and review contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions align with organizational needs.
Track contract compliance and renewals, ensuring agreements are honored.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives for procurement efficiency.
Inventory Control:
Ensure the proper storage, management, and tracking of inventory.
Work with inventory management teams to streamline processes for order fulfillment and stock control.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular procurement reports detailing expenditures, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, transactions, and correspondence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of procurement software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Pay: AED5,600.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
