Job Title: Procurement Manager - fit out

Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process for the company, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, products, and services. The role involves vendor management, negotiation, cost control, and ensuring all purchases comply with company policies and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery targets. Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure competitive rates. Prepare purchase orders (POs), follow up on approvals, and ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier performance, and inventory. Coordinate with project managers, engineering, finance, and site teams to understand material requirements. Monitor market trends, product availability, and price fluctuations. Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or supplier disputes. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply. Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and legal requirements. Evaluate supplier performance through periodic assessments. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement (preferably in construction, MEP, interiors, or related industries). Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract terms. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications such as CIPS/CSCP/CPSM (added advantage). Experience in large-scale construction or fit-out projects.
