Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced

Procurement Manager & Estimator more then 10 years in uae

to oversee procurement operations and cost estimation for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects across the UAE. This dual-role position requires a strategic thinker with deep market knowledge, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in managing procurement and preparing accurate cost estimates for complex MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets. Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors for MEP materials and services. Ensure timely procurement of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Maintain and evaluate supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with UAE procurement laws and company policies. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to forecast procurement needs. Manage procurement documentation including RFQs, POs, contracts, and delivery schedules.
Estimation:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems during tender and execution phases. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine material and labor requirements. Conduct market analysis to benchmark pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to validate scope and quantities. Prepare and submit competitive bids and tender documents. Track cost variations and support value engineering efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Minimum 10 years of combined experience in procurement and estimation for MEP construction in the UAE. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and suppliers in the GCC region. Proficiency in estimation and procurement software (e.g., Candy, SAP, Oracle). Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and UAE construction regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Certifications:

CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or equivalent
