Procurement Manager
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies specific to MEP materials and systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Electrical).
• Source and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors for technical capability, reliability, and pricing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis, alternative materials, and local sourcing.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering, estimation, and project management teams to understand material specifications and project timelines.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid project delays
• Maintain awareness of material lead times, logistics, and site coordination.
• Manage material demand planning and ensure optimal inventory levels to support ongoing projects.
• Monitor procurement budgets, control costs, and prepare regular procurement reports.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with project cost controls and schedules.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Assign tasks, monitor workloads, and review team outputs for quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and legal standards.
• Oversee proper documentation of purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier agreements
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of Procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a Lead or Managerial role within the MEP industry in UAE.
• Deep understanding of MEP materials, equipment, systems, and industry-specific suppliers.
