to manage all purchasing activities for our healthy restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B procurement, a deep understanding of sourcing high-quality and organic ingredients, and excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Responsibilities:
Source and purchase fresh, organic, and health-conscious ingredients and supplies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable local and international suppliers.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering to avoid shortages or excess.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-efficiency and product quality.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and restaurant specifications.
Collaborate closely with chefs and kitchen team to understand menu and seasonal needs.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery and proper documentation.
Regularly review procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in restaurants or the F&B industry.
Strong knowledge of health-focused ingredients, organic produce, and specialty items.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Understanding of HACCP, ISO, or other food safety standards.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory/purchasing software.
Experience in the UAE market and knowledge of local suppliers is preferred.
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
