Job Description

Our client is a leading cosmetic retailer in CIS countries, and they are expanding their business in the Middle East region.We are looking to hire a Business Manager / Procurement Manager and the primary responsibility is to lead the procurement and sourcing operations for cosmetic products within a retail setting.Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategize and implement procurement strategies that align with the company\'s goals and objectives.
  • Analyse market trends and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Manage and evaluate select reliable suppliers and vendors of cosmetics and raw materials. Evaluate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing and quality.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts. Inventory control measures to minimize wastage and reduce carrying costs.
  • Advice and manager quality assurance teams to ensure that all cosmetics meet regulatory and quality standards.
  • Optimization: pricing, production, and delivery costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction. Seek cost-effective sourcing options without compromising product quality.
  • Research: Update on industry trends, new products, and new suppliers.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • 10 years\' experience in managing business operations and purchase/ procurement in a retail company in the UAE.
  • Arabic speaker is an advantage.
  • Know-how of multi-currency and multi- country procurement functions
  • Ability to adopt within a dynamic workplace.
