Ideal School, Qatar is seeking a proactive and experienced
Procurement Manager
to manage and oversee all procurement activities for the school. The role ensures timely sourcing, cost efficiency, vendor compliance, and adherence to school policies and Qatar regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute procurement activities for school operations, academics, facilities, and catering units
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and service providers
Ensure cost control, quality standards, and timely delivery of goods and services
Prepare and review purchase requests, quotations, LPOs, and contracts
Coordinate with finance, hospitality, facilities, and academic departments
Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues
Ensure compliance with school policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare periodic reports
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in
Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration
, or related field
5+ years of procurement experience
, preferably in
schools, institutions, or large organizations
Strong knowledge of vendor management, sourcing, negotiation, and cost control
Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems and Microsoft Excel
Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Immediate joiners preferred
