Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and financial goals.
Oversee the entire procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, purchase order management, and supplier relationship management.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize procurement processes and reduce expenses.
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure quality, reliability, and adherence to contractual agreements.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier capabilities to inform strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and finance teams, to understand procurement needs and priorities.
Provide leadership and direction to the procurement team, including mentoring, training, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing procurement activities.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics, and cost-saving initiatives to senior management.
