Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and supply chain operations for large-scale construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring materials and services are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute procurement strategies for civil and infrastructure construction projects

Source and negotiate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services

Review technical specifications, drawings, and project BOQs to align procurement with engineering requirements

Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites in coordination with project managers and site engineers

Manage tendering processes, RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract awards

Monitor procurement KPIs including cost savings, lead times, and vendor performance

Collaborate with finance and project control teams to forecast procurement budgets

Maintain accurate records of purchases, approvals, contracts, and supplier communications

Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations and safety standards

Utilize ERP or procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) for efficient workflow

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration

Minimum 7-10 years of procurement experience in construction or engineering firms, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

In-depth knowledge of construction materials, local and international suppliers, and market rates

Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, procurement law, and UAE construction regulations

Experience managing procurement for infrastructure, residential, or commercial developments

Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
