Job Description
Technical Sourcing:
Identify and vet suppliers for LV components (ACB, MCCB, Contactors, Relays), enclosures, and automation hardware (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs).Drawing Interpretation:
ReviewSingle Line Diagrams (SLDs)
and schematics to extract accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure technical compliance.Supplier Management:
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times with international OEMs (e.g., Schneider, ABB, Siemens) and local vendors.Cost Optimization:
Conduct value engineering exercises to reduce project costs without compromising on technical specifications or quality standards.Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Industry Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in procurement specifically within theLV Switchgear or Industrial Automation
industry.Regional Expertise:
Mandatory 3-5 years of experience within the Gulf region (GCC)
, with a solid understanding of local market dynamics and vendor networks.Technical Literacy:
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical data sheets.Software:
Proficiency in ERP systemsJob Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
