We are expanding our operations to strengthen our procurement and international shipping functions, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and global service excellence.

Role Overview

The Procurement & International Logistics Intern will assist in sourcing suppliers, coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and supporting day-to-day operations within the procurement and logistics department. This internship provides hands-on experience in international shipping processes, vendor management, and supply chain coordination in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the procurement team in identifying and evaluating new suppliers, both local and international. Assist in preparing and managing purchase orders, quotations, and supplier correspondence. Coordinate with international freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transport partners to track shipments. Maintain records of shipments, invoices, and customs documentation. Support cost comparison, supplier performance tracking, and logistics optimization reports. Help in monitoring inventory levels and updating procurement databases. Participate in vendor negotiations and assist in ensuring compliance with company procurement policies. Liaise with internal departments (warehouse, operations, finance) for smooth coordination. Contribute to process improvement initiatives in shipping and procurement workflows.

Qualifications & Skills

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in

Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Basic understanding of procurement processes and international shipping terms (Incoterms, customs clearance, etc.) is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Eagerness to learn, proactive mindset, and attention to detail.
