Ensuring that all projects materials are procured on time and delivered to site meeting the construction schedule.
Knowledge & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or automotive engineer qualified to BSc level.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience 5 year of which shall have been gained in middle East.
- He shall have at least 5 year experience in a managerial position
- A background in the management of the serving maintenance and repair of the range of contract vehicles plant and equipment is essential.
- High level proficiency in the use of data management and computer software programmes for maintenance activity.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the organization of all matters related to transport and plant in their field.
- Responsible for providing efficient logistics services in full accordance with contract specifications.
- Shall report directly to Site manager
- Follow up of materials on order.
- Coordinate with vendor/engineering after the first set of drawing/ITP.
- TPI arrangement and follow up by email and Phone.
- Co-coordinating with sourcing officer/specialists for change in static delivery date.
- Arrange Vendor meeting to improve VDP.
- Attend project review meetings.
- Follow up of material inspection at Majan.
- Follow up of material delivery from Majan to Site.
- Keep tracking of material till receipt at site.
- Report to the site manager.
- Provide governance for the overall logistics and plant maintenance, to increase productivity.
- Process owner for the Logistic and maintenance management system.
Basic Salary: OMR-600-700
