Procurement Executive (preferably FEMALE )

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team in the Oil & Gas and Chemical Trading sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing procurement operations, vendor coordination, and import/export documentation for chemical products. You will be responsible for ensuring timely sourcing, cost-effective purchasing, and compliance with international trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure raw materials, specialty chemicals, and related products as per project or client requirements. Identify and negotiate with local and international suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Prepare and process purchase orders, supplier agreements, and import/export documentation (LC, CAD, TT, DAP, CIF, etc.). Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth material flow and accurate billing. Track shipment schedules and follow up with freight forwarders and clearing agents for timely delivery. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an updated vendor database. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and UAE import/export regulations. Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement cycles based on demand and lead time. Support management with market analysis, cost comparisons, and procurement reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. 2-3 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas / Chemical trading or import-export sector. Strong understanding of international trade terms and documentation (LC, TT, DAP, CIF, etc.). Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems. Ability to handle multiple procurement projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

:

Experience dealing with suppliers from Asia, Europe, or the Middle East. Familiarity with chemical suppliers and logistics handling of hazardous materials.
