Procurement Officer - Automotive industry experience

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management of automotive parts, materials, and services. The role ensures cost-effective procurement, strong supplier relationships, and timely availability of items to support production and aftersales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase automotive parts, consumables, equipment, and services in line with company requirements.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Evaluate and onboard new vendors while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules and service operations.
Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets.
Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery timelines, and reliability).
Conduct market research to identify trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for management.
Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams for smooth operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
2-4 years of procurement experience (preferably in automotive or manufacturing).
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of automotive spare parts, raw materials, and industry suppliers.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
