Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and resourceful Procurement Executive to join our fruits and vegetables trading business in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local wholesale market, especially the Aweer Fruit and Vegetable Market, and a proven track record in sourcing high-quality fresh produce at competitive rates. This role involves daily market visits, negotiation with vendors, and ensuring timely procurement to meet the company's supply chain needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Visit the Aweer Fruit and Vegetable Market regularly for sourcing and procurement activities. Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate the best prices and terms. Ensure the quality, freshness, and grade of fruits and vegetables before procurement. Monitor daily market trends, pricing fluctuations, and availability of stock. Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and storage. Maintain accurate procurement records and update stock regularly. Build and maintain strong relationships with market vendors and transporters. Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning based on sales trends and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in procurement of fresh produce in the UAE, preferably in the Aweer Market. Strong knowledge of fruits and vegetables varieties, grades, and seasonal availability. UAE valid driving license is mandatory for daily market visits. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work early hours (market visits typically start early morning). Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
