Job Purpose







Responsible for sourcing, procuring and logistical operations for material and services





Accountabilities



Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels Ensure that there are no supply disruptions by developing multiple supply options and contingency plans including optimum inventory management Assess total costs of company purchases, develop strategies to reduce costs in procurement and supplier management Responsible for current state assessment, gap resolution and task deliverables for assigned area of responsibilities Support users with post implementation procedural or system issues Manage on time delivery of material and services to internal customers Remain up to date with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market Route, copy and circulate quotes, bids and proposal for evaluation Make POs for Electrical, Mechanical, IT, Admin, Safety user requirements. Vendor Relationship Management on basis of frequency of POs, rejection and payment terms. Effective selection and management of suppliers to support lean manufacturing processes Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs Coordinate with finance, Store, User and vendors for payment, rejections, inventory controls Day to Day follow up with internal customers for satisfaction Review marketing material and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Monitor shipments to ensure the compliance of regulations Ensure all procurement documents and other records relating to procurement procedures are collected and maintained for audit trails

Meeting service level agreement timelines with other departments

100% PO and invoice accuracy

Education/Qualification



Bachelors Degree

Experience (experience required for the job)




2+ years of experience as procurement officer or in a similar position Proficient in SAP / purchasing software
