Job Description

We are in search of an influential Procurement Engineer/Officer to join our productive team in Saudi Arabia. Analyze technical data and specifications to determine the equipment needed for projects . Evaluate equipment suppliers and negotiate purchasing agreements for equipment . Devise, implement and oversee procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets . Administer supplier and vendor contracts . Ensure that purchases comply with commercial, legal and contractual obligations . Communicate with stakeholders regarding the nature and function of purchased equipment . Provides Technical Support as required and assists in the preparation of the procurement plan. . Identifies, reviews and monitors priority, long lead, and other required materials and ensure the proper coordination with other project disciplines, to meet all procurement milestones dates . Must have thorough knowledge of procurement/ materials practices, economic principles, international codes, standards, procedures and specifications. . Preferred previous experience in middle east region associated with mega projects. Qualification, Skills & Experience ., Atleast 5 years in the building industry and material procurement on large to mega building / architectural projects. . Bachelors degree preferably in Civil Engineering or other relevant degree. Requirements . Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferrable in Engineering field . 3-year relevant field experience, with 2-year experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia . Based in Riyadh preferrable .
