Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Procurement Officer

with

at least 3 years of experience in the UAE construction industry

to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services. The role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and compliance with UAE regulations, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply chain operations for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers, contractors, and service providers in line with project requirements.

Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order and delivery.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost savings and quality standards.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with UAE laws, company policies, and project specifications.

Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to forecast material and equipment needs.

Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery issues, and manage claims or disputes.

Prepare procurement reports and provide updates to management on purchasing status.

Support tendering processes, including preparing RFQs, evaluating bids, and making recommendations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil/Construction Engineering, or related field.

Minimum

3 years of procurement experience

in the UAE construction sector.

Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, supplier sourcing, and contract administration.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.

Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, RERA/DLD requirements, and UAE construction regulations.

Strong vendor network within the UAE construction and building materials market.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month
