Job Description

Job Purpose

To plan, source, and procure materials, equipment, and subcontracted services required for construction projects in a timely and cost-effective manner while ensuring quality, contractual, and compliance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and implement project-specific procurement plans aligned with construction schedules. Identify, evaluate, and pre-qualify suppliers and subcontractors. Obtain, analyze, and compare quotations; prepare technical and commercial bid evaluations. Issue purchase orders and subcontracts in accordance with approved budgets and contracts. Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QS, and Site teams to confirm specifications and delivery timelines. Track material deliveries, follow up with vendors, and resolve supply or quality issues. Ensure materials comply with technical specifications, drawings, and project standards. Maintain procurement documentation, vendor records, and procurement MIS. Support cost control by negotiating prices, terms, and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and ethical procurement practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) 3-7 years of procurement experience in construction or infrastructure projects Experience with EPC, high-rise buildings, roads, school projects or industrial projects preferred
