About the Role:




As a Procurement Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our construction projects by managing the sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor packages. You will be responsible for ensuring cost efficiency, technical compliance, and timely procurement in line with project requirements. Your expertise will contribute to effective supplier selection, accurate commercial evaluations, and seamless coordination with project, engineering, and commercial tams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements



Experience managing of procurement of Provisional Sum & Subcontractor packages for high-rise building projects (Structure, Finishing, Facade, MEP, etc.) Familiar with preparation and issue of RFQs, tender documents, and BOQs to subcontractors Experience in Identifying, pre-qualification and evaluate subcontractors based on technical and commercial criteria Have decent experience in technical & commercial bid evaluations and prepare comparison statements Lead negotiations with subcontractors to achieve cost-effective and timely awards Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Planning, and Commercial teams Decent exposure with Contracts/Commercial teams to issue LOIs, Work Orders, and Subcontracts. Good knowledge in tracking procurement schedules and ensure alignment with project timelines Monitor subcontractor performance related to procurement scope Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contract conditions Maintain procurement records, reports, and vendor databases Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil) 8 years of experience in procurement of subcontractor packages for high-rise buildings Strong understanding of construction methodologies and subcontract scopes Experience handling multiple packages simultaneously Good knowledge of contractual terms, BOQs, and cost control Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage priorities

Preferred Experience:



Experience with reputed main contractors or developers Exposure to large-scale residential or mixed-use high-rise projects Familiarity with local subcontractor market and supply chain
