Procurement Engineer
Job Description
Role Summary:
Responsible for end-to-end procurement for multiple active projects, coordinating with both the real estate developer and the in-house contracting company to ensure timely and compliant procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement activities for 7 concurrent construction projects.
Liaise with the real estate developer and internal contracting teams on procurement requirements.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with UAE-based suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare RFQs, analyze bids, issue LPOs, and manage contracts.
Ensure compliance with UAE commercial, contract, and construction regulations.
Coordinate with project, planning, and finance teams to meet budgets and schedules.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and cost control.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of construction procurement experience, preferably in the UAE.
Experience working with real estate developers and in-house contracting companies.
Strong network of UAE subcontractors and suppliers.
Solid knowledge of UAE laws, contracts, and procurement practices.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
