Key Responsibilities

Review project specifications, BOQs, and drawings to identify material requirements. Prepare RFQs, obtain competitive quotations, evaluate offers, and prepare comparison sheets. Source and develop reliable suppliers and subcontractors within the UAE market. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to secure cost-effective procurement. Issue LPOs (Local Purchase Orders) in accordance with approved quotations and company procedures. Monitor and follow up on material deliveries to ensure on-time arrival at project sites. Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and storekeepers for material planning and stock levels. Ensure all materials comply with project specifications and quality standards. Maintain procurement logs, supplier databases, and documentation for audits. Assist in preparing procurement budgets and cost forecasts for ongoing projects. Resolve supplier issues, delays, or discrepancies proactively. Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum

2 years UAE experience

in procurement within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of UAE construction material suppliers and market pricing. Good understanding of civil engineering materials, specifications, and standards. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Strong analytical and multitasking abilities. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
