Procurement Engineer
Job Description
Manage the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations materials, spare parts, and technical services.
Evaluate, qualify, and manage suppliers based on quality, cost efficiency, and delivery performance.
Collaborate with maintenance coordination and maintenance operation teams to understand technical needs, maintenance schedules, and spare part priorities.
Ensure timely sourcing and delivery of critical parts to minimize equipment downtime.
Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings to ensure accurate material procurement.
Negotiate contracts and long-term agreements to optimize cost and supply reliability.
Monitor supplier performance, address issues, and support vendor improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and compliance documentation.
Assist in maintenance budgeting and cost control activities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance and supply processes.
Strong understanding of maintenance operations, MRO materials, and spare parts management.
Excellent coordination and communication skills to liaise effectively with internal maintenance teams.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
