Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Procurement Engineer

to lead and optimize our procurement operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services by evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, and overseeing the RFQ process. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, industry experience, and a proactive approach to supplier management and internal collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough supplier evaluations to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance Manage and process purchase orders efficiently, ensuring alignment with project timelines Prepare, issue, and analyze Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to secure competitive pricing and terms Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities Monitor procurement data and generate reports to support strategic decision-making Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent performance and resolve issues Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in supplier evaluation and purchase order management Strong analytical skills with proficiency in handling RFQs and procurement data Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective supplier and team engagement Prior experience in procurement within the engineering or construction industry is highly desirable Exceptional organizational and time management abilities Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
