Exciting Career Kickstart: Procurement Engineer Role in Dubai!

As a Procurement Engineer at Besomi Electronics Group, you will play a key role in our operations by managing the procurement of both local and international electronic and electrical components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with project goals, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and project teams to understand procurement requirements and develop sourcing strategies.

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers both locally and internationally, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project timelines.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors while building strong, long-term supplier relationships.

Manage the complete end-to-end procurement cycle, including RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.

Monitor and assess supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier evaluations.

Analyze pricing structures and supply chain risks to make cost-effective decisions.

Keep up to date with import/export regulations and coordinate closely with freight forwarders

Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market movements in electronic and electrical components.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of procurement experience specifically focused on electronic and electrical components.

Demonstrated experience in procuring from international vendors and handling import/export operations.

Familiarity with UAE import regulations and international shipping processes.

Strong understanding of supply chain management, procurement best practices, and vendor compliance.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

What We're Looking For

Fresh grads or up to 1-2 years of experience in procurement (electronics/electrical background is a plus!) Degree in Engineering is amust, or a related field

Someone detail-oriented, eager to learn, and confident with numbers

Able to stay cool under pressure and work independently when needed
