Candidate requirements
:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
is a must.4 to 5 years of UAE experience
in procurement within the metal/fabrication industry. Ability to identify Fabrication-related items and relevant subcontractors. Knowledge of Fabrication related industries Familiar with local vendors, subcontractors, and market rates. Strong knowledge of steel materials and project tendering processes. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and document handling. Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills. UAE driving License is mandatory*
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and floatinquiry packages
for subcontractors and suppliers. Compile complete inquiry documents including: Item specifications Procurement skills for projects and non projects requirements. BOQs (Bill of Quantities) Approved vendor/supplier list Relevant technical drawings and scope details Coordinate with estimation, engineering, and site teams to ensure package accuracy. Identify and sourcemetal/fabrication-related materials and subcontractors
as per project requirements. Understand and addressclarifications raised during tendering
, and evaluate theirimpact on scope, cost, and timeline
. Analyze received offers and preparetechnical and commercial comparative statements
. Support negotiations and assist in finalizing vendors/subcontractors.Job Type: Full-time
