Procurement Engineer

WINTER Refrigeration is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Procurement Engineer

to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

Know about the equipment, materials, and supplies used in the industry and their suppliers. Identify reliable vendors and suppliers both locally and internationally. Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers. Prepare documentation for internal processes as per ISO standards. Shall be able to review static equipment Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track deliveries to ensure timely execution. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and UAE regulations
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical). Minimum 3 years' experience in procurement engineering or supply chain Market knowledge in the sourcing of equipment, materials, and services. Familiarity with procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of procurement system (ERP) Good English written and spoken, High Computer skills Knowledge of UAE market and import/export regulations
