Job Description

:

Developing of detailed procurement plans and strategies covering Civil, MEP and Equipment/Machinery items related to the company's operations in the United Arab Emirates. Leading commercial negotiations with vendors, subcontractors and service providers prior to contract/order award. Strong data base of Water proofing, Play equipment, Road works, Shade structure, Paving and Fabrications, Civil and MEP works. Assisting the tendering team in the project bidding process by providing requisite technical and commercial information. Approving and overseeing all details related to special orders. Identify and research new suppliers to meet new requirements as well as alternate suppliers for existing requirements. Develop and float Request for Quotations (RFQs), sent to vendors / subcontractors as per site request/order indent. Receive documented proposals or quotes & record tender information including Vendor price, delivery terms and conditions. Makes Quotation Comparative Statement (QCS) for the required item, as per proposals / quotations received from the subcontractors / suppliers against PO requirements. Ensures materials and services are supplied in a timely fashion to avoid work disruptions. Preparing reports for managing project procurement schedule at project Site. Verifying of Delivery Notes against Local Purchase Order and preparing/approving payment requests for settlement by the Finance Section. Liaising with the projects Managers/teams in order to ensure the quality and timely delivery of material. Ensure all requisitions have proper delegation of authority and are processed within Company guidelines. Specialized in Procurement, Supply Agreements, Strategic Sourcing, and Process Improvement & Commercial analysis.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelors Degree, major in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Finance. Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems Minimum 2 years' experience as a Procurement Engineer handling Swimming Pool and Landscape requirements Fluent in Arabic (Native Speaker) is a must Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Accurate and precise attention to detail Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels Goal-oriented, organized team player Can handle extreme work pressure.
