Job Description
:
As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for all MEP-related materials, equipment, and services. Your role is critical to ensuring that all project materials meet the required specifications, are delivered on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Material & Equipment Procurement:
Identify, source, and procure MEP materials and equipment in accordance with project requirements and specifications.Vendor Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials.Cost Control:
Analyze cost proposals, prepare cost estimates, and manage procurement budgets.Quality Assurance:
Ensure all procured materials meet quality standards and project specifications.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery schedules.Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.Market Research:
Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new products to optimize procurement strategies.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical,or a related field.Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the MEP contracting industry.Job Type: Full-time
