Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing & Supplier Management

Identifying, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiating contracts, pricing, and payment terms. Establishing and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Ensuring suppliers meet quality, delivery, and cost requirements.

2. Procurement & Purchasing

Preparing purchase orders and procurement schedules. Analyzing material requirements and ensuring timely procurement. Managing procurement budgets and cost-saving initiatives. Coordinating with finance for payments and budget approvals.

3. Technical & Quality Assurance

Reviewing technical specifications and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Conducting supplier audits and quality inspections. Collaborating with engineers to find cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality. Ensuring procured items meet industry standards and regulations.

4. Logistics & Inventory Management

Coordinating shipments, customs clearance, and timely delivery. Monitoring inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock. Implementing supply chain best practices to reduce lead times.

5. Documentation & Compliance

Maintaining procurement records, contracts, and supplier agreements. Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Managing risk assessments related to procurement decisions.

6. Cross-functional Coordination

Working closely with engineering, production, and project management teams. Addressing procurement-related challenges and delays. Supporting R&D teams in sourcing new materials or components.

Educational Requirements:

- 2-3 years of experience in procurement or relevant fields

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Supply Chain Management

- Strong negotiation skills & attention to detail.
