Identify suppliers, compare pricing, evaluate offers, and negotiate contracts and terms.
Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and service.
Conduct market research to identify trends, new products, and alternative suppliers.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and align purchasing plans.
Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in procurement processes.
Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships to support long-term procurement goals.
Assist in budget planning and cost control by providing procurement data and analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
