Procurement Officer / Engineer

Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer/Engineer is responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for oil and gas operations. The role ensures timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, quality compliance, and alignment with company policies and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or relevant field. Minimum 3-8 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas, EPC, or related industries. Source, evaluate, and select suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability. Prepare and issue purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts in line with company procedures. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value optimization. Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with contractual obligations. Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audits and project requirements. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure materials meet technical specifications and project timelines. Assist in inventory management, material planning, and stock control to avoid project delays. Ensure adherence to HSE standards, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
