Procurement Engineer
Job Description
:We are looking for a Procurement Engineer with knowledge in motors and AutoCAD to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle purchasing of engineering materials, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of quality products at the best price.
Key Responsibilities: Source and procure mechanical/electrical materials, especially motors and related components. Review and understand technical drawings using AutoCAD.Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, and negotiate prices. Coordinate with engineering and project teams for technical clarifications.Maintain vendor databases and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.Follow up on delivery schedules and material inspections.
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.Minimum 2-5 years of experience in procurement or technical purchasing.Knowledge in electric motors, HVAC components, Refrigeration and related equipment.Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading and preparing technical drawings.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Experience in ERP systems is an added
