Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Procurement Engineer

to join our procurement team. The role will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and services in line with project requirements. The Procurement Engineer will coordinate with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and the logistics manager to ensure timely delivery of materials within the defined budget, quality standards, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Group Procurement Manager in executing procurement functions across projects. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure strong working relationships. Define and confirm scope of supply, material budgets, and quantities for tender preparation. Manage purchase requests, vendor evaluations, and transactions to align with project needs. Oversee timely placement of purchase orders and track material deliveries. Monitor vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Maintain procurement logs and support accurate project reporting. Work closely with the project manager, planning engineer, QS team, and logistics manager to ensure smooth material transfers and availability. Ensure procurement activities are completed within company policies and project deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Administrative Sciences (or equivalent).

Experience:

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry.

Skills:

Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills. Knowledge of tendering, vendor management, and supply chain processes. Ability to manage multiple procurement packages simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
