to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services essential for civil construction projects and FM. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of construction materials, market trends, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning:
Develop procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors. Maintain a strong vendor network to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
Material Sourcing & Evaluation:
Source construction materials such as cement, aggregates, steel, formwork, MEP items, and more. Evaluate technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Tendering & Negotiation:
Prepare RFQs, analyze bids, negotiate terms and conditions, and finalize purchase orders/contracts.
Coordination with Site & Engineering Teams:
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors to ensure material compatibility and site requirements.
Cost Control:
Monitor procurement budgets, track price trends, and recommend cost-saving measures.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate procurement records. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery and site inventory management.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Additional certifications in supply chain/procurement are a plus (e.g., CSCP, CIPS).
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in procurement within the construction or infrastructure sector.
