Procurement Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Source and procure marble, stone, and related materials from approved local and international suppliers.
Obtain RFQs, prepare comparisons, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with project, technical, and design teams to understand material specifications and quantities.
Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure adherence to project timelines.
Ensure materials meet required quality standards and project specifications.
Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
Manage procurement documentation, contracts, and records.
Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
3-6 years of procurement experience, preferably in marble/stone or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of marble types, finishes, specifications, and sourcing.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems.
