Procurement Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities. Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs to determine material requirements. Prepare and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ), compare technical and commercial offers, and prepare bid tabulations. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with engineering, project management, and logistics teams for technical clarifications and delivery schedules. Maintain and update procurement records, purchase orders, and vendor performance data. Ensure procurement activities comply with project specifications, company procedures, and client requirements. Monitor and expedite material delivery, resolving any supply chain or quality issues that may arise. Support cost estimation and budgeting processes by providing accurate material pricing and lead time data. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers for long-term cooperation and reliability.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).Experience:
1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
