Conduct industry research to identify potential suppliers. Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve favourable outcomes Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers and subcontractors Review technical specifications, project requirements, and vendor proposals to ensure alignment with organizational needs Draft procurement contracts and agreements Ensure compliance with local laws, company policies, and industry standards Collaborate with project teams, including design, engineering, and construction departments, to align procurement activities with project timelines Monitor and expedite supplier deliveries to meet project deadlines Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier evaluations Conduct market research to identify trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities Develop and refine procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Promote sustainable procurement practices and identify innovative solutions to improve efficiency
